Message to Parents:

Parents:
Thank you for being part of our TRIC Community and for encouraging your player to participate in the wonderful game of soccer.  We are a volunteer-driven organization in which coaches and board members donate their time to provide a positive and fun experience for players to learn and grow as an individual and a team player.
We kindly ask that everyone in our community takes an active role in accomplishing this goal by being respectful of coaches, players, parents and officials at all times.  Please remember the importance of being a positive role model and to practicing good sportsmanship during games.
We encourage our parents to review the Parent Code of Conduct on our web site prior to the beginning of the season as a reminder of our goals and expectations.  The TRIC board members look forward to a successful season and depend upon your support and cooperation.
Again, we thank you for choosing TRIC and appreciate the opportunity to develop your child into the best player and teammate they can be.
Thank you,
Jess Uttal

ABOUT US

Thanks for your interest in TRIC Soccer! The TRIC Soccer organization exists to promote fair play and sportsmanship through the experience of soccer.

TRIC Soccer provides organized programs for munchkin, micro, recreation and competitive soccer leagues. At each age group, TRIC soccer strives to provide kids of varying ability with a quality playing experience that focuses on fair play, individual player development and teamwork.

Toms River Independent Club was founded in 1993 as a "Coach's Club". Under this structure, the club exists to support coaches and players with the resources necessary to organize, train and field a team. This structure provides greater flexibility and freedom, especially as it relates to issues including try-outs and team training.

Parent Code of Conduct

Make soccer participation for your child and others a positive experience.

Remember that a child is easily affected by outside influences.

Be kind to your child's coach and to the officials. The coach is a volunteer-giving of personal time and money to provide a recreational activity for your child. The coach is providing a valuable community service, often without reward other than their personal satisfaction. Without them your child could not participate.

Applaud good plays by your team AND by members of the opposing team.Parents should be cheerleaders.

Allow the coach to coach, the referee to officiate, and most of all allow your child to play the game.

Between the exuberance of the winner and the disappointment of the loser, we have the referee. All of them follow the same creed to watch every movement of every player, and to call the game to the best of their ability. DO NOT openly question their judgment, and never their honesty. They are a symbol of fair play, integrity and sportsmanship.

Accept the results of each game, and encourage your child to: Be gracious in victory, and turn defeat to victory by working towards improvement.
