Message to Parents:
Parents:
Remember the opposing team is not the enemy, cheer for your team, not against the opponent. Practice good sportsmanship, because sportsmanship is everyone’s responsibility. Please remember while at the games this weekend it is supposed to be about the kids learning and having fun. Referees, coaches and players are going to try and do their best. Please sit back and enjoy the game, let the referee call the game, let the coaches’ coach and most importantly let the kids play and enjoy this great game. Be a positive role model.

Thanks

About Us
Thanks for your interest in TRIC Soccer!  The TRIC Soccer organization exists to promote fair play and sportsmanship through the experience of soccer.

TRIC Soccer provides organized programs for munchkin, micro, recreation and competitive soccer leagues. At each age group, TRIC soccer strives to provide kids of varying ability with a quality playing experience that focuses on fair play, individual player development and teamwork.

Toms River Independent Club was founded in 1993 as a "Coach's Club". Under this structure, the club exists to support coaches and players with the resources necessary to organize, train, and field a team. This structure provides greater flexibility and freedom especially as it relates to issues including try-outs, and team training.

Parent Code of Conduct
Make soccer participation for your child and others a positive experience.

Remember that a child is easily affected by outside influences.

Be kind to your child's coach and to the officials. The coach is a volunteer-giving of personal time and money to provide a recreational activity for your child. The coach is providing a valuable community service, often without reward other than their personal satisfaction. Without them your child could not participate.

Applaud good plays by your team AND by members of the opposing team.Parents should be cheerleaders.

Allow the coach to coach, the referee to officiate, and most of all allow your child to play the game.

Between the exuberance of the winner and the disappointment of the loser, we have the referee. All of them follow the same creed to watch every movement of every player, and to call the game to the best of their ability. DO NOT openly question their judgment, and never their honesty. They are a symbol of fair play, integrity and sportsmanship.

Accept the results of each game, and encourage your child to: Be gracious in victory, and turn defeat to victory by working towards improvement.
