Thanks for your interest in TRIC Soccer! The TRIC Soccer organization exists to promote fair play and sportsmanship through the experience of soccer.
TRIC Soccer provides organized programs for micro, recreation and competitive soccer leagues. At each age group, TRIC soccer strives to provide kids of varying ability with a quality playing experience that focuses on fair play, individual player development and teamwork.
Toms River Independent Club was founded in 1992 as a "Coach's Club". Under this structure, the club exists to support coaches and players with the resources necessary to organize, train, and field a team. This structure provides greater flexibility and freedom especially as it relates to issues including try-outs, uniforms, and team training.
In the TRIC Micro program, players under 6 years of age participate in small sided (3v3) developmental soccer. Practices generally occur on Saturday mornings, prior to a friendly match.
In the TRIC Recreation program, players compete against other local clubs in 8v8 format. Recreation games generally occur on Saturdays. Most teams in the Recreation program schedule practice at least once a week during the season. Children ages 5-10 commonly participate in the recreation program.
In the TRIC Competitive program, players generally compete in the Jersey Coast and MOSA (Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association) Leagues. The Jersey Coast and MOSA leagues starts at U8.
